Seeing a little beauty (Beetle)

Within the series of sculptures titled "Seeing a Little Beauty (Beetle)," Vahan Matevosyan draws upon his profound childhood impressions. He recalls being captivated by beetles—despite their microscopic and seemingly inconspicuous size, they represented a vast world of exploration and beauty. Behind this vision lies a simple yet profound philosophy: in our relentless pursuit of consumption and materialism, we often overlook the inherent wonders and intricacies of life. Through these sculptures, Matevosyan invites viewers to rediscover the beauty in simplicity and to reawaken a sense of wonder towards the often-overlooked aspects of existence.
